Diane Yoon is the VP of People at OpenAI. Diane joined OpenAI in 2018 and has since helped grow the organization into one of the world’s leading AI research and deployment organizations. Her team works to make OpenAI the best place for brilliant people to do the most meaningful and creative work of their lives through a combination of hiring, enablement, development, performance management, administrative support, and DEI and cultural initiatives. Prior to OpenAI, Diane held operational roles in early-stage Silicon Valley startups, and prior to that held various roles in the legal field. Diane received her undergraduate degree in English literature from University of California, Los Angeles.
