We’ve invited an experienced team of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders to help judge TSX. The judges will query participants on their submissions and choose the TSX 2022 Ones to Watch.
Our judging panel this year includes business leaders who’ve grown startups into global businesses, active investors, and HR experts.

Lars Schmidt | HR Influencer, Author, Podcast Host & Founder of Amplify
Lars Schmidt is the Founder of Amplify, a boutique firm that helps companies and HR leaders navigate the new world of work through HR executive search and the Amplify Accelerator program. He's spent over 20 years in the industry building a range of leading global companies. He’s a writer for Fast Company, author of the bestselling Redefining HR book, co-author of Employer Branding for Dummies, and Host of the Redefining HR podcast.
Lars’s work has been featured in Fast Company, CNN, NPR, Wall Street Journal, Mashable, Time, Forbes, Washington Post, and TechCo. Lars keynotes and emcees conferences around the word on topics spanning HR transformation, recruiting, employer brand, and talent innovation. He was named a Top 100 Influencer by HR Examiner and included in The Huffington Post's Top 100 Most Social HR Experts on Twitter, named a top 50 recruiting influencer by LinkedIn, and is the recipient of NPR’s 1st internal innovation award. He is based in Virginia, USA.
Rosaleen Blair | Serial Entrepreneur, Founder & Chair Alexander Mann Solutions, Pioneer in Global Workforce Solutions & EY Entrepreneur of the Year Judge
Rosaleen has revolutionized recruitment, transforming how blue-chip companies attract top talent.
Spotting an opportunity to change how blue-chip companies attract and retain top talent, Rosaleen founded Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) in 1996 and served as its CEO for 23 years. During that time, she led the business through huge geographic and revenue growth, a management buyout, four private equity relationships and a global economic crisis.
In 2019, she sold the business and became Chair of the company. By that point it was a global market leader, with 4,500 employees serving more than 100 blue-chip organizations, in over 90 countries around the world.
Rosaleen is committed to creating opportunities for others, both within Alexander Mann Solutions and through other organizations including the Prince’s Trust, UNICEF, Modern Muse, Everywoman and the London Irish Centre.
Jim Kelliher | Software Financial Expert, Investor, Four-time CFO
A four-time CFO and financial executive, Jim currently serves as CFO at Drift, a Boston-based venture startup, and the world’s leading conversational marketing company. He is responsible for all financial and administrative operations, including finance, human resources, legal, IT, and facilities. He joined Drift from Actifio, where he also served as CFO. Previously he was CFO at LogMeIn, from 2006 to 2015, where he played a pivotal role in growing the business through its successful initial public offering in July 2009. Prior to LogMeIn, Jim was the CFO of IMlogic from 2003 to 2006 and prior to that was in various financials roles at PTC from 1992 to 2003, including vice president of finance and International CFO. Jim began his career as an audit supervisor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Jim also is very active in promoting business between Boston and Ireland and has worked extensively with the Ireland Gateway to Europe organization, a group of Irish executives committed to promoting Ireland as an international business center. Additionally, Jim is currently the Chairman of the Boston College Irish Business Council (BCIRB) which was designed to enhance transatlantic business development opportunities between Boston and Ireland drawing on the Boston College community to promote their efforts.
Jim has also previously served on the Board of Directors of Fleetmatics Group PLC, an Irish company, based in Boston, which was a leading technology company in the fleet management market and had a successful initial public offering in 2013, prior to its acquisition in 2017 by Verizon. Additionally, from 2014 to 2018 Jim served on the Board of Adaptive Insights, a Palo Alto based venture startup, that was acquired by Workday in July 2018.
Cassidy Leventhal | VP, Achieve Partners & University Ventures, Investor/Founder, Human Capital, Education & Future of Work, Forbes 30 Under 30
Cassidy Leventhal is a Vice President at Achieve Partners and University Ventures, leading investment firms focused on the future of education and work. Cassidy is a member of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Education, co-founder of AlternativestoCollege.com, and co-chair of Talent & Diversity at Impact Capital Managers, and her work has been featured in Bloomberg, Talent Tech Labs, Education Dive, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Board roles include Freedom Learning Group, Optimum Healthcare IT, Ro Health and Yellowbrick. Previously, Cassidy was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she served public and private sector clients across strategy, organization, and digital initiatives.
